On February 25th, MS Aerospace was contacted by one of our customers with an urgent request to manufacture some parts that required special plating on top of all of the other processes necessary to comply with the specifications of the print.
The customer was in a desperate situation regarding the need for these parts. MS Aerospace took the customer’s order over the phone, trusting the paper purchase order would follow, and got on the track to make those parts as quickly as possible for the customer.
As many in our industry are aware, plating by approved sources sometimes causes significant delays in the process of completing parts. However, in this case, MS Aerospace was able to expedite the plating process in order to speed the manufacturing and completion of the order.
Consequently, when the manufacture of the pieces ordered was completed, including the plating, only 5 business days had elapsed!
